Tyres & Types

Introduction:

Tyres are used on all types of vehicles, from cars to earthmovers to airplanes. Tires enable vehicle performance by providing for traction, braking, steering, and load support. Tires are inflated with air, which provides a flexible cushion between the vehicle and the road that smooths out shock and provides for a comfortable ride quality.


Types of Tyres:

Solid Tyre

Super Solid is an advanced version of solid tyres used in various material handling application like Forklift , Port Trailers , trolleys etc.
Super Solid with in built features of solid – pneumatic version of tyres


Aero Bridge Tyre

This type of tire basically suitable for FMC air system. The new wheel carriage for the A 380 upper deck passenger boarding bridge is a robust, heavy duty design that incorporates features to increase operational longevity and stability.

Press On Band

A Press-on tire is made of rubber bonded to a mild steel band, which is pressed as interference fit onto a wheel. The steel band is a mild steel strip, which is rolled, welded and expanded in-house by Watts wheel division.
